About us

Philosophy of the institute

The institute feels committed to heuristic, interdisciplinary and transcultural approaches in its research. Furthermore, internationality is to be achieved with a comprehensive network. Scientists and thinkers from different cultures should research, publish and exchange ideas together in a network of topics, problem solutions and approaches for the future of tomorrow. In this way, possible solutions are to be discussed and implemented.

The institute undertakes to work according to the “Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice” of the DFG (German Research Foundation). The main types of work at the institute are:

– publications,

– Creation of digital media, such as podcast,

– Research activities on the topics mentioned,

– Exchange of scientists in the form of panel discussions, lectures or international meetings,

– Development and expansion of individual and institutional networks.

The institute also sees itself as a transfer or bridge for the exchange of knowledge and experiences between Orient and Occident and vice versa.
